Leila is a made-to-measure top built from openwork crochet motifs: full squares and half squares, joined on the last round, three joins per side. Worked double-stranded in hand-painted silk, it falls softly and catches the light with every movement.
Make it with a V-neck or a square neckline, keep it short or add a row of squares to cover the hips, or carry on and turn it into a dress. The pattern gives the stitch diagrams of both motifs, round-by-round instructions illustrated with photos, the assembly plan for a size M (48 squares, 24 half squares) and the edging for the hem, neckline and sleeves.
