A soft, looped mohair yarn with a beautiful sheen – texture does all the work.
This bouclé is spun from 78% South African mohair, which gives it a lovely luster that sets it apart from most bouclé yarns. Its fine, irregular loops create a unique, cozy texture on their own, so even a simple stockinette or garter stitch looks stunning.
Knitted on larger needles, it is ideal for big, fluffy sweaters and cardigans, shawls, hats, mittens and neck warmers. It also works beautifully as an accent yarn held together with another yarn. A great choice for beginners too, as the texture hides small irregularities in the knitting. A hat, scarf or pair of mittens can often be made from a single skein.
Like all mohair, it is warm yet light, comfortable in cold weather, and naturally resistant to dirt thanks to the smooth surface of the fiber.
