Light, lustrous and incredibly soft – a kid mohair yarn for sweaters you can wear all year round.

Double Kid Mohair blends 65% kid mohair with 35% of the softest merino wool. Only the fine fibers from young South African mohair goats are used, giving a yarn with a beautiful natural shine and a soft, smooth hand.

Knitted with a single strand, it makes thin, light sweaters that are just as warm as much thicker knits, and slip easily under a coat. Mohair is naturally temperature regulating, so they are comfortable in winter as well as on cool summer evenings. The fiber's smooth surface also makes it naturally dirt and water repellent.

Cables and textured patterns stand out beautifully, and the bright, clear colors make it a lovely choice for Fair Isle and colorwork. Suitable for hand knitting, crochet and machine knitting. For a thicker, cozier fabric, hold two strands together on 5 mm needles.
